About eFast

An EV startup from Pune, building clean mobility.

eFast is a Pune-based electric vehicle and clean-tech startup. We are building an all-electric cab network that runs on our own DC fast-charging hubs, so clean rides work for riders, drivers and the city.

The problem

Electric cabs stall
at the charger.

India's cities need cleaner transport, and electric cabs are the obvious answer. But today's model is split in two. Ride-hailing apps own rider demand but not drivers' energy costs. Charging operators own chargers but have no guaranteed demand. Drivers are left queuing at public chargers instead of earning, and clean rides stay harder to run than petrol and diesel ones.

What we're building

The fleet and the
charging backbone, together.

eFast combines an electric cab fleet with dedicated DC fast-charging hubs that we build and run ourselves. Hubs sit on the routes the fleet runs and take a cab from 20% to 80% in about 24 minutes on the CCS2 standard, so drivers top up during a break and spend more of every shift earning.

Drivers own their EVs and drive as part of the eFast fleet, with steady demand, quick charging and transparent weekly payouts. Companies can move their teams on clean, all-electric rides with corporate accounts, and fleet operators and hub partners can plug into the same charging network.

Our model is grounded in primary research with 201 Pune cab drivers, so driver economics come from real numbers, not assumptions.

Why Pune

Starting in Pune,
built for India.

Pune is one of India's fastest-growing startup and IT cities, with heavy commuter traffic between tech hubs and residential areas. Our pilot launches between December 2026 and January 2027 across Hinjewadi, Baner, Aundh, Bavdhan, Kothrud, Katraj, Koregaon Park, Magarpatta, Kharadi, Viman Nagar and Wagholi, with more zones and hub capacity added ahead of demand.
